Twin Atlantic announce new album ‘Separation From The Animals’
TWIN ATLANTIC have announced a brand new album!
Titled Separation From The Animals, the upcoming release from the Scottish alternative rock band is set for release on October 2nd via Dance To The Radio. The album serves as the follow-up to 2024’s Meltdown, and sees the band at their most raw and emotionally exposed, continuing their signature anthemic sound while embracing a more personal and reflective direction shaped by frontman Sam McTrusty’s life experiences.
The record was created during a transformative period for the band, with McTrusty relocating to Toronto and drawing inspiration from a deeply introspective chapter of his life. Alongside the announcement, the band have released the new single, In Your Eyes.
Speaking about the track, Sam McTrusty shares, “it’s about being at the other end of a relationship where you feel like no matter what you do, nothing is ever good enough. You take a step back and realise that in trying to appease that one person, you’ve blinded yourself to the fact that everything is great. Look outside of that window and life is much better.”
The new single follows the previously released Don’t Quit It, offering another glimpse into the band’s most honest and emotionally-driven material to date.

In support of the new album, TWIN ATLANTIC will embark on a UK headline tour this October, with dates in Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, London, Manchester and Glasgow.
