Ulthar release new song ‘Saccades’

ULTHAR have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Saccades, is taken from the American blackened death metal band’s upcoming new album, Anthronomicon, one of two albums (Helionomicon) which will be both released simultaneously in February this year.

Speaking about the new song, guitarist/vocalist Shelby Lermo says, Saccades was the first song written for the Anthronomicon/Helionomicon project, shortly after the release of our last album, Providence. Musically, I feel it showcases the strongest aspects of ULTHAR’s sound, traversing the spectrum from grinding death to sweeping black metal. Lyrically, it explores the limits of human perception, and how things we think we see aren’t always there. It was largely inspired by the novel Blindsight by Peter Watts.”

Anthronomicon and Helionomicon are both set for release on February 17th via 20 Buck Spin. Pre-orders are available now and can be purchased here.
