Underdark announce new album ‘O Come Forth Annihilation’
UNDERDARK have announced a brand new album!
The Nottingham-based blackened post-hardcore outfit have revealed their new album, O Come Forth Annihilation, which is scheduled for release on November 6th via Church Road Records. The upcoming record follows 2023’s Managed Decline and sees the band continuing to expand their distinctive blend of black metal, post-rock, screamo and post-hardcore.
Building on themes introduced on Managed Decline, the new album shifts its focus from the collapse of post-industrial Britain to the anxieties and crises of the modern world, exploring the suffocating reality of life in an increasingly uncertain present.
To coincide with the announcement, UNDERDARK have also unveiled “Non Linear Warfare, the first single to be taken from the forthcoming record.
Speaking about the new track, the band shares, “Non Linear Warfare is the first single from OCFA. The track grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go, each movement only building in the intensity of the last until it finally explodes. The song is about how they lie to you, how they have lied to you, and how they will continue to lie to you until you find a way to disconnect.”
