Villagers Of Ioannina City announce new album ‘Venceremos’

The upcoming release, titled Venceremos, is the latest full-length album from the Greek heavy rock band and is scheduled to be released on September 18th via Napalm Records.

The album follows 2023’s Through Space & Time (Alive In Athens 2020) and intends to mark the band’s most ambitious and conceptually driven work to date, following their continued evolution blending heavy rock, progressive metal and traditional Hellenic elements.

Alongside the announcement, the band have released the new single Ghosts in the sky, which arrives with an accompanying music video.

Speaking about the new track, the band shares, “Ghosts in the sky is the vessel that carries all our hopes and dreams. It is a call to stand together in the face of fear, where hope travels like a distant star and freedom is worth every fight. It’s about defiance, unity, and believing in change, even when everybody says it won’t come.”
