Voice Of Baceprot announce live EP ‘Other Side Of Metalism’

VOICE OF BACEPROT have announced a live EP!

Titled Other Side Of Metalism, the live EP will consist of favourite covers from the Indonesian rock-trio, and will be released weekly this month.

The band have faced a high degree of intolerance due to their gender and religion, even within their own community in West Java, Indonesia. “The more we tried to avoid the criticism, distance ourselves from it, it became even more vile. It provoked us to fight back even more bluntly. It kept going to the point where we became so tired,” Firdda Marsya Kurnia [guitar/vocals] recalls.

Instead of giving up, the trio went on to write their debut single, School Revolution, and their upcoming single God, Allow Me (Please) To Play Music, which is scheduled for release on streaming platforms in August this year.

In the meantime, the band will be releasing weekly live covers for Other Side Of Metalism. To celebrate the announcement, VOICE OF BACEPROT have released their first cover, ONE MINUTE SILENCE‘s I Wear My Skin, alongside an accompanying music video.
