Watain and Abbath announce co-headlining European tour

WATAIN and ABBATH have announced a co-headlining European tour!

Set to take place in September and October this year, the tour will see the Swedish black metal band teaming up with the former IMMORTAL singer’s solo band for a co-headlining tour across mainland Europe, and one date in the UK. The tour comes in support of the Swedes’ upcoming new album, The Agony & Ecstasy Of Watain, whilst ABBATH will support their new release, Dread Reaver.

Support for the tour comes from TRIBULATION and BÖLZER. Tickets will be available from 09:00 on Wednesday, February 16th and can be purchased here.

Speaking about the tour, WATAIN vocalist E. Danielsson says, “we can finally announce our first European Tour for The Agony & Ecstasy of Watain: The CHARIOTS OF FIRE tour, in the fall of 2022. The name of the tour is taken from the first lyric line of the first song of the new album, but it’s also an ode to the song by BATHORY, a band whom we share a great passion for with our tour companion, the one and only ABBATH. Joining us are also the unique powerhouses TRIBULATION and BÖLZER.”
