Wraith announce new album ‘Descent Into Darkness’
WRAITH have announced a brand new album!
The Indiana blackened thrash and speed metal outfit have revealed their sixth studio album, Descent Into Darkness, which is scheduled for release on November 13th via Prosthetic Records. The upcoming record follows 2024’s Fueled By Fear and sees the band drawing inspiration from the brutality, chaos and human cost of World War I, whilst building upon the ferocious sound established throughout their previous work.
To coincide with the announcement, WRAITH have also unveiled Final Warning, the first single to be taken from the forthcoming record. Speaking about the new track, vocalist Matt Sokol shares, “it’s a story about ignoring warnings. No matter what side of the political spectrum you sit on, very scary things are happening in the modern world. We’re acting as if it doesn’t really matter though. At the start of WWI, there were signs politically that everything was soured and mistakes were being made. Unfortunately, it led to one of the largest military conflicts ever. It’s a cliché, but history repeats itself. Don’t ignore the warning. If you do, it could be too late.”
