XL Life release new music video for ‘Just Do It’

XL LIFE have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Just Do It, is the brand new single from the Cardiff-based hardcore punk band and follows on from their previous single, Noise, which was released last year.

Speaking about the new song, frontman Traxx says, “the song to us is a soundtrack to the tenacity of sportspeople. The grit and determination to push your personal boundaries. We all workout in the band—Lew runs up mountains with rocks on his back, Jasper does martial arts, Khaled skates bowls, and Traxx goes boxing. We found ourselves listening to this song as a soundtrack to the push. A push to see what’s on the other side of the pain.

It’s only now that I’ve just realised punk music is the perfect soundtrack to sport, whether it’s an Olympic compilation or a Rocky montage. Give me some beating riff underneath and ramped up drums and let’s run faster. The lyrics ‘what am I waiting for…waiting for my time to front’ is a question I often ask myself. Whatever it is you wanna achieve, let’s go get it!”
