Yob complete work on new album

YOB have completed work on their brand new album!

The as-of-yet untitled new album is the eighth studio effort from the band and follows 2014’s Clearing The Path To Ascend and is expected to be released this summer. The upcoming album will contain six tracks co-produced by the band and recorded with engineer Billy Barnett at Gung Ho Studio in Eugene, OR, with mastering handled by Heba Kadry (THE MARS VOLTA, DIAMANDA GALAS, SLOWDIVE).

Alongside completing work on their new album, the band have also penned a deal with Relapse Records following a series of reissues with the label. Speaking about signing with Relapse and their new material, frontman Mike Scheidt says, “I have many, many albums in my collection that have been released by Relapse, and I’ve been a fan of their releases for nearly 30 years. We’re honored and excited to release our new album with Relapse. We can’t wait to get back at it and share this new music with our friends worldwide!”

YOB’s upcoming eighth studio record is expected to be released in summer this year via Relapse Records.
