Youth Killed It release new music video for ‘What Happened’
British rockers YOUTH KILLED IT have released a brand new music video!
The new music video, for the track What Happened, is taken from the band’s upcoming debut album Modern Bollotics, which is scheduled to be released in May. Speaking about the track and video, frontman Jack Murphy says, “the track and video are a story about coming of age and growing up. Suddenly one day you’re laying in bed, thinking about where the last 10 years have gone and you realise that leaving adolescence behind is the single most significant thing to happen to you. You go from worrying about having the coolest trainers (the ones with the lights were the shit in my opinion) or who’s got the rarest Pokemon card, to juggling responsibilities like money, rent and bills. As a kid, having £50 felt like you were an absolute baller. You could do anything you wanted. As an adult, there is that realisation you pay much more than £50 per month, on tax alone. Some of us were lucky enough to have a massive group of friends at school that you would see every day. Now, you have a select few who you can only see on the rare occasion you’re all available. We all take our younger years for granted and spend the rest of our lives imagining what it would be like for it to be that simple again.”
