The Bronx split with founding drummer

THE BRONX have announced that drummer Jorma Vik has left the band!

Jorma Vik, founding drummer of LA punk rockers THE BRONX announced in a statement yesterday that he is set to leave the band (as well as its side-project MARIACHI EL BRONX) after 14 years.

Writing on his own Facebook page, the drummer said: “I’m having a very difficult time finding the words to express how grateful I am to everyone who have supported the band(s) over the past 14 years.”

The remaining members of THE BRONX are yet to comment, and no replacement has been suggested so far.

The band are next set to play in the UK at 2000 Trees Festival in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire on July 7th.
