23 more bands announced for Download Festival

Download Festival have announced another 23 bands for next year’s festival!

Just about a month has passed since the festival confirmed the first batch of bands, making a real statement of intent, but now that has only intensified as Download have confirmed another whopping 23 bands for 2019’s event.

Leading the charge in today’s announcement is thrash metal royalty SLAYER, who will perform their last ever UK show as part of their farewell tour at the festival, whilst THE SMASHING PUMPKINSLAMB OF GODEAGLES OF DEATH METAL and DREAM THEATER will all perform across the weekend.

Also confirmed to perform at next year’s festival is ANTHRAXALIEN WEAPONRYBLACK FUTURESI PREVAILBADFLOWERMAN WITH A MISSIONJINJERBLACKBERRY SMOKETHE INTERRUPTERSNOTHING,NOWHEREOUR LAST NIGHTRIDING THE LOWROYAL REPUBLICSTATE CHAMPSUNDERSIDEWHITECHAPELYOURS TRULY and ZEBRAHEAD.

The newly announced bands join headliners DEF LEPPARDSLIPKNOTTOOL as well as ROB ZOMBIEDIE ANTWOORDWHITESNAKETRIVIUMAMON AMARTHCARCASSOPETH and more.

Download Festival takes place from June 14-16th. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
