Prong announce new self-titled album

PRONG have announced a brand new album!

Titled Prong, the upcoming release from the New York alternative metal veterans is set for release on November 6th via Napalm Records. The self-titled record marks the band’s debut for the label and follows 2023’s State Of Emergency. Featuring eleven new tracks, the album sees PRONG drawing upon the industrial metal, thrash, alternative rock, and hardcore influences that have defined their four-decade career.

Speaking about the album, frontman Tommy Victor shares, “this could be the best PRONG album to date. It’s definitely the best sounding PRONG album ever, with the incredible Andy Sneap mixing and mastering it! This record represents a new lease on life for PRONG with a new label, a fresh attitude with faster and heavier songs, bigger hooks and top-notch sound quality. That’s why it’s self-titled; it’s a redefining episode for PRONG!”

Mixed and mastered by Andy Sneap at Backstage Studios, the album is described as a statement of intent from the band, balancing aggression, melody, and groove while remaining true to the sound that established PRONG as one of alternative metal’s most influential acts.
