AVRAK release new song ‘The Lonely Shadow’

AVRAK have released a new single!

The Norwegian heavy metal band, featuring Anders Hegna (NØD, EL KAYENNE, SVIDD GREVLING) and DARKTHRONE‘s Ted Skjellum, have unveiled The Lonely Shadow, the second single to be lifted from their upcoming self-titled debut album, which is scheduled for release on October 9th via Peaceville Records. The new track follows the previously released Unborn.

Described as a “heavy metal voyage from the peak of the mountains to the depths of the seas”, the band blends classic heavy metal and doom rock with synth passages and traces of black metal. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Knut Magne Valle at Mølla Studio in February 2026, the nine-track album explores themes of empowerment in the face of increasingly corrupt times.

Speaking about the band, Ted Skjellum says, “heavy metal tastes great, ripe from the roots of cosmos.”
