Bloodstock Festival announce 12 new bands

12 new bands have been announced for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!

Following last month’s announcement, which saw the reveal of the Jagermeister Stage lineup, now, another 12 bands have been confirmed for the UK’s biggest metal festival!

Firstly, due to extenuating circumstances, a number of alterations to the bill have been necessary. Due to some unforeseen logistical issues out of ZEAL & ARDOR‘s hands, the band are unfortunately not able to perform on Saturday but the festival’s management have managed to move the band to Sunday’s Sophie Lancaster Stage lineup. KING 810’s set will now move to Thursday and TRIBE OF GHOSTS to Saturday. In addition, EYES have had to withdraw from the festival and will be replaced by AMBRIUS in the Saturday morning opening slot on the Sophie Lancaster Stage.

In addition, the final ten bands for the Hobgoblin New Blood Stage have been revealed. Friday sees Oxford heat victors SHOOT TO KILL, Devon & Cornwall’s victors APATHY, Bournemouth’s winners TO OBEY A TYRANT and South Wales outfit TORCHBEARER. Saturday New Blood billing includes Cheltenham’s SKORA, Northampton’s PICTURE THE SCENE, Burnley’s THE DEAD XIII and Stoke’s winners BLOODMORES. Sunday’s New Blood lineup welcomes Nottingham’s winners BEYOND YOUR DESIGN.

Finally, on Sunday morning over at the Sophie Lancaster Stage, the party also gets started by the winner of Planet Rock Radio’s band competition: PHOENIX LAKE.
