Torpor announce new album ‘Abscission’

TORPOR have announced a new album!

Titled Abscission, the upcoming album from the Bristol-based doom/sludge metal trio is the follow-up to 2019’s Rhetoric Of The Image, and is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Human Worth.

The upcoming album was recorded by producer Wayne Adams [PETBRICK, BIG LAD] out in the Welsh windswept wilderness of Giant Wafer Studios. The upcoming album intends to be a paean to earth shattering tones, subtle detailed textures, immersive sound design and most importantly crushing heaviness.
