Fortress Festival announce two new bands

Fortress Festival have announced two new bands for this year’s festival!

Following December’s announcement, which saw German black metallers DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT announced, now, two more bands have been confirmed for this year’s black metal festival in Scarborough.

UK black metallers ANTE-INFERNO and ANDRACCA join this year’s lineup that features the likes of WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM, TRIPTYKON, BLACKBRAID, GAEREA and more.

Speaking about performing at this year’s festival, ANDRACCA says, “we greatly anticipate returning to Fortress Festival, alongside the strongest black metal line-up we’ve seen so far in the UK, armed with a brand new album. It will be a pleasure to play our part in the aural assault!”

ANTE-INFERNO adds, “we ready ourselves to return once more to the Fortress – one year since we unleashed our frenzied battle cry into the fervent horde that we found there within its walls of mouldering stone. We celebrate our arrival with more than mere words. It will mark a year spent crafting and recording what will soon become our third full-length release. A year of leaning over the bubbling cauldron of life and death, invoking new, diabolic compositions into existence.”

Fortress Festival takes place at Scarborough Spa, Scarborough from 1st June – 2nd June 2024. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
