Fortress Festival reveal Der Weg Einer Freiheit

Fortress Festival have announced a new band for next year’s festival!

Following last month’s announcement, which saw MISÞYRMING and FLUISTERAARS announced, now, one new band has been announced for next year’s black metal festival in Scarborough.

Joining the festival’s main stage billing in an exclusive UK appearance is German black metallers DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT.

The band join a stellar line-up of special bands and exclusive shows. Previously confirmed bands include TRIPTYKON with a 2024 UK exclusive and mainstage headlining show, WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM with a 2024 UK exclusive and mainstage headline Two Hunters set (the first time the iconic album will be performed live in the UK), second stage headliners REGARDE LES HOMMES TOMBER with a UK exclusive show for 2024, BLACKBRAID with a debut and exclusive UK show, PANOPTICON with a Roads To The North anniversary full album set, FURIA with an exclusive UK show and more.

Fortress Festival takes place at Scarborough Spa, Scarborough from 1st June – 2nd June 2024. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
