Gorod release new music video for ‘Forgiveness’
GOROD have released a new music video!
The new music video, for Forgiveness, is taken from the French progressive technical metal band’s upcoming new album The Ember Gone, which is scheduled to be released on August 28th via Base Productions and Season of Mist. The track marks the first single from the long-awaited record.
The accompanying visual, directed by Sébastien Duattis, takes the form of an almost eight-minute short film, exploring themes of the Pyrocene, the age of megafires, through a deeply personal narrative centred on guilt, responsibility and environmental collapse.
Speaking about the new track, the band shares, “musically, Forgiveness is undoubtedly our most progressive composition to date, a synthesis where GOROD’s technical prowess meets epic songwriting and territories the band has never explored before. This song gives us the opportunity to tell a story that is deeply meaningful to us, this time not only through the music itself, but also through its visual interpretation.”
