Khirki release new song ‘Your Majesty’
KHIRKI have released a brand new song!
The new song, titled Your Majesty, is taken from the Greek heavy rock band’s upcoming new album, Κυκεώνας, which is scheduled to be released later this year.
Speaking about the new song, the band says, “we love the proto-metal scene of the 70s and bands like RAINBOW, BLACK SABBATH, and JUDAS PRIEST. Your Majesty is a tribute from us to the sound of that era that changed the music world forever. The lyrics constitute the anti-war speech of a knight who has the courage and audacity to speak bluntly to his king, during his own accolade. He condemns and rejects the system in the most dramatic way: having excelled within it. Of course, he pays for it with his life, hence the sound of the guillotine at the end. Enjoy!”
