Miss May I announce new album ‘No Place For Me’

MISS MAY I have announced a brand new album!

Titled No Place For Me, the upcoming release from the Ohio metalcore veterans is set for release on October 2nd via Solid State Records. The band’s eighth studio album follows 2022’s Curse Of Existence and intends to see the band delivering some of the most personal material of their career.

Speaking about the album, vocalist Levi Benton shares,No Place For Me is everything I’ve felt for a long time but never had the words for. Writing it taught me who I actually am even when that hurt to look at. It’s a full journey: Where it started, what I discovered, and where I am today.”

Alongside the announcement, the band have released the new single, Sanctuary. The new song is the third single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Die on the Vine and Pray For Silence.

Speaking about the track, Benton says,Sanctuary is a song about wanting to feel safe and realizing you’re the one making that impossible. It’s a cycle I’ve struggled with my whole life and I think a lot of people know exactly what that feels like.”
