SNAYX release new music video for ‘Nice Day 4 It’
SNAYX have released a new music video!
The new track, Nice Day 4 It, marks the beginning of a new era for the Brighton alt-punk outfit and is their first release via new label home Nettwerk Music Group. Following Brain Cellz, the song pairs the band’s trademark riffs and livewire energy with one of their most immediate and infectious choruses to date.
Speaking about the track, the band shares, “it’s a summer song, but lost in its own melancholy, in its own weird way. It’s about that headspace where self-destruction stops feeling like a problem and starts feeling more like just another day. Feelings get filed away for a future version of yourself to deal with. Your mate texts. You go again. When the spiral begins to spin so rapidly out of control, you eventually end up in motion and before you know it, you’re actually rolling. There’s something almost freeing in the dissonance. Like once you stop trying to hold it together, the pressure’s off. It’s not quite nihilism, but there’s definitely a sense of: everyone’s a bit fucked, the world’s a bit fucked, so why not make a nice day of it?”
