Mimi Barks releases new music video for ‘Ophelia’

MIMI BARKS has released a new music video!

The new track, Ophelia, is taken from the Berlin-based doom trap artist’s newly released EP Dreamstate Of Fear, which is out now via her own imprint DEATHKISS Records.

Speaking about the track, Barks says, “Ophelia the single that completes my EP Dreamstate of Fear, which is out now. A spell of losing yourself inside someone else’s reality, the quiet disappearance of the self. Like Ophelia beneath the river’s surface, it is a surrender to the illusion and a reclamation of the power.”

Directed by Tima Kasatkin (SPACE OF VARIATIONS, JINJER) and filmed in Košice, Slovakia, the accompanying video captures one of the EP’s most emotional moments and reflects the record’s themes of loss, surrender, and self-reclamation.
