Unholy Altar sign to BLKIIBLK
UNHOLY ALTAR have signed with BLKIIBLK Records!
The Philadelphia black metal outfit have officially joined the label’s roster, marking a new chapter for the band following the release of 2025’s A Sullen Dark Sky EP.
Formed in 2021, the band have quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting names in the American black metal underground. Following the release of Veil Of Death! Shroud Of Night in 2024 and A Sullen Dark Sky in 2025, the band have continued to evolve their sound, balancing the raw aggression of second-wave black metal with an increasingly atmospheric and distinctive identity.
Speaking about their new partnership with the label, the band says, “we are pleased to announce that UNHOLY ALTAR has joined forces with BLKIIBLK Records. A new chapter begins, and with it comes our darkest offering yet. The gates have opened.”
