While She Sleeps go independent for upcoming third album

Sheffield metalcore band WHILE SHE SLEEPS have announced that they are breaking the ties with the music industry and are releasing their third album via PledgeMusic.

PledgeMusic is a site that allows bands and artists to self-release their own material with funding helped out by the fans who donate to get something in return such as a CD, bundle packs etc.

The news came after a previous announcement telling fans to watch their social media at 6pm, and after a few delays from technical difficulties the below statement was released:

“After 10 years of dealing with the ups and downs of the music industry we have decided to continue our journey independently and self release our third full length album, available now for pre-order on PledgeMusic. All money raised goes directly towards funding the new album, artwork, music videos, touring and everything that keeps our band alive. Help make this journey possible & watch our story: pledgemusic.com/whileshesleeps”

Everyone who helps fund the new album will receive a free download of their latest single, Civil Isolation and anyone who pre-orders an item will receive an Access Pass & special updates from the band during the recording process and over the course of the coming months. You’ll be able to watch the album come to life including the name for the album and artwork.
