EP REVIEW: Heavy Infectious – Crashface

London’s coolest new duo, CRASHFACE, are set to launch their debut EP, Heavy Infectious. The pair who first rocketed into the alternative music scene in early 2020, have assembled a hefty collection of five super aggressive tunes that are sure to have you rocking in no time.

The self-release, which is due to drop on the 25th of June, features singles Molotov Smile and Cold. Both have already received substantial positive attention and attracted listeners with unbelievable vocal hooks and trippy visuals. The most recent and final single from the EP, Loading Screen Infinity, is a real standout. Combining visceral lyrics and electronic elements, the group unleash themselves to a higher level. It’s a showstopper that truly packs a punch.

This ability to make insanely bold and dramatic music is a skill that can’t be ignored. The talent and exponential amount of potential radiating from the duo makes one big statement. We are here, and we are CRASHFACE.

The rest of the tracks featuring on Heavy Infectious, are all roughly around three minutes in length and can be likened to the more recent sounds of BRING ME THE HORIZON. Featuring iconic riffs, electric moments and screams that ring to your core. Frontman Charlie Hinton, has you gripped from the moment he opens his mouth. Bassist, Otto Balfour, also commands your attention, his energetic downpour and musicality impacting each track.

The level of noise that comes from this group is a formidable force to be reckoned with, the riffs are loud and they’re downright heavy. This power is jaw-dropping, showcasing the pair’s talents and explosive ability. Combine this with their enticing lyrics and slightly punk sound and you’re on to a winner.

If this is only the beginning of CRASHFACE, then listener’s should only expect something louder and better in their projects to come. So, jump onboard now and join this generation’s call to the next noise revolution.
