INTRODUCING: Neshiima

It has always been a case of united we stand for Glasgow electro-rock warriors NESHIIMA. The Glasgow four-piece arrived on to the scene back in 2015 with critically acclaimed EP Beware Of Gifts, quickly gaining recognition and respect from the tight-knit tech-metal community.

Success was looming, but the next three years would go on to test the band’s resilience with life throwing up all types of harrowing curveballs; the personal tribulations facing front man Liam Hesslewood would test his faith in humanity – in every sense of the word. Ultimately, the quartet decided to turn their collective backs on fear and with their recently released EP Purple, created the kind of evocative yet cathartic soundscapes sure to resonate among the disillusioned and the disheartened.

After giving us a taste of what’s to come with the release of debut single Here Forever, we caught up with the Scots to dig deeper into the message NESHIIMA plan to convey with their new material, the inspiration behind the music and future aspirations.
