PREMIERE: Oniro (Live Session) – Mars Era

We here at Distorted Sound are delighted to premiere the brand new live session video from MARS ERA!

In the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the restrictions, lockdowns and social distancing regulations have brought the live music industry to a standstill. With gigs still not being permitted to happen, for many bands, the art of the livestream have became the only avenue for bands to showcase their musical chops in a live setting.

With that in mind, Italian progressive stoner outfit MARS ERA have released a new live session video from KOAN Studio – Firenze; showcasing their excellent new album, Oniro, in a live setting for the first time.

Speaking about the release of the live session video, the band tells us, “in this global pandemic situation live concerts have literally disappeared. Oniro, our new album, was released three months ago without a worthy release party that we imagined in the beginning. We dreamed the crowd under the stage, the pure adrenaline before the start of the show, but unfortunately, we still have to be patient.

Anyway, the MARS ERA don’ give up! It’s a promise! We are no longer in the Eye of The Cyclone, we now see that white light at the end of the bay. This live session is a small gift for our fans, we hope to come back soon playing live with all of you under the stage headbanging and screamin’ together with us. Three tracks extracted from Oniro and a final shot from the debut album! Enjoy the music and thanks a lot to KOAN Studio – Firenze for the support in this recording session.
