Top 5 Games That Will Make You Feel Like a Rock Star

Music has a huge influence on common culture, not just in the bands we listen to or the albums we love, but in how it forms an important part of other areas of culture too. It can make or break a film, with a good soundtrack lifting an average title to a good one. A striking score will make a film more memorable, perhaps even much better. Music has also made its way into the gaming world as well.

Some games release new music each year and artists who feature on such titles as FIFA often find themselves thrust into the mainstream. Music doesn’t just feature as part of a game though; sometimes the game itself is either based around music or designed with bands as the central element. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at five games that are sure to make you feel like a rock star.

KISS: Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child

An article by Loudwire on KISS details how the band have just had their latest mobile game released on Android and I-Phone, but the legendary American band have featured in digital form before many times.

KISS have just completed their European Farewell Tour, but at no point did they receive superhuman powers, like the protagonist in this 2000 Dreamcast game. It was also released on Windows, but a planned PlayStation version was cancelled despite decent reviews.

Revolution X

Midway’s 1994 effort featured Stephen Tyler and AEROSMITH as themselves, kidnapped by an evil corporation calling themselves the New Order Nation. The concept of the game was to battle through various levels to rescue the band, one member at a time. Play at เล่นที่ UFABET คาสิโนออนไลน์ and enjoy a world of excitement.

It began life as an arcade game but later made it onto home consoles such as the Super Nintendo and MegaDrive. A piece by Arcade Museum reports that one of the game’s strengths was the AEROSMITH soundtrack featuring Eat the Rich, Sweet Emotion, Toys in the Attic and Walk This Way.

Brutal Legend

Perhaps the best-known game on our list, Brutal Legend landed in 2009 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Kotaku explain that Jack Black plays the hero Eddie Riggs, a humble roadie for a fictional band called KABBAGE BOY who is transported to a fantasy world inspired by the artwork of famous heavy metal album covers.

As well as Black, the game boasted the voices of several metal musicians including Lemmy Kilmister, Rob Halford, Ozzy Osbourne and Lita Ford.

Rock and Roll Bingo

Rock and Roll Bingo offers a new twist on the popular game, with online cards replacing dabbers and music clips instead of numbers being called. It can be played anywhere and allows you and your friends the chance to come together and feel like rock stars together.

Rock and Roll Bingo follows a popular trend of combining music with online gaming. Foxy Games has a wide variety of titles that incorporate music into the gameplay including Monsters of Rock, Mad Rockers, and Lucky Link Beats. Through the use of music the games appeal to both fans of mobile gaming and music. Music is a great tool for bringing people together and Rock and Roll Bingo mixes that with online gaming to appeal to fans of both.

Ed Hunter

The lines between reality and fiction were well and truly blurred in 1999 when IRON MAIDEN released Ed Hunter, a greatest hits album and playable PC game.

It was a rail shooter in which each level was inspired by a past album cover, starting in the East End of London and passing through hell and a hospital amongst others. Players could even choose which track from the album they wanted to listen to during each level.
