Katatonia to perform with Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra

KATATONIA have announced a special orchestral show in Bulgaria!

Swedish metallers KATATONIA have revealed they they are set to play a two-set concert at the Roman Theatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria where they will be joined by a full orchestra.

For the band’s first set they will perform their 2006 album The Great Cold Distance in its entirety, to celebrate its 10th anniversary, alongside the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra. There will also be a second set, without the orchestra, that will see the band playing a selection of their greatest hits.

The evening will be promoted by the Bulgarian independent radio station Tangra Mega Rock and orchestrated by conductor Levon Manukyan, who wrote the first metal ballet and has worked with the likes of OPETHPARADISE LOSTASIAFISHTARJA TURUNENANATHEMA and many others.
