Sólstafir premiere Silfur-Refur and vinyl

SÓLSTAFIR have premiered a brand new song from their upcoming sixth album, Berdreyminn. The track titled Silfur-Refur is the third song and will be released on a limited edition 10″ vinyl.

Listen to Silfur-Refur below:

Frontman Aðalbjörn “Addi” Tryggvason comments on the track: “The song Silfur-Refur revolves around having a sick ghost version of yourself taking control of your life. You resist with all you have, but you simply don’t stand a chance. It travels with you all the time, asleep or awake. The song was written in a few parts – with the intro being one of them. We knew right away that this would be the opener of the album.”

The limited edition vinyl of Silfur-Refur will be released in black (ltd. 400 copies, 45 rpm) and blue (ltd. 300 copies, 45 rpm) with an exclusive B-side, Scorpion Moonrise. The B-side has the guest-appearance of HEXVESSEL and former BEASTMILK vocalist Mat “Kvohst” McNerney, who wrote the lyrics.
