14 more bands confirmed for Bloodstock Festival
14 more bands have been confirmed for this year’s Bloodstock Festival!
It’s just over six weeks until the UK’s biggest weekend metal festival returns and the organisers of the festival have confirmed another 14 bands to perform at this year’s festival! Firstly, Indian blackened death metallers DEMONIC RESURRECTION have been announced to perform on the Sophie Lancaster Stage on the Sunday as a result of BIO-CANCER having to unfortunately cancel.
However, the bulk of the day’s announcement comes with a new batch of Metal 2 The Masses‘ victors who will perform on the Hobgoblin New Blood Stage. Friday brings melo-death Cardiff winners DEMOCRATUS, Somerset champs KINASIS with their brand of technical extreme metal, and Nottingham’s UNDERDARK. Also landing a guest spot are filthy, southern-fried, metal n’ rollers KING BISON.
Joining the Hobgoblin New Blood Stage on Saturday, are thrash-tinged Newcastle victors KILONOVA, hard rockers EQUINOX who took first place in the Merseyside final, and Wrexham’s winners CADENCE NOIR. Sunday’s bill welcomes Devon/Cornwall conquerors ETHYRFIELD, doomy sludgers BARBARIAN HERMIT who won the Manchester heat, and from their excellent CD application, SERVERS. Polish winners, the anonymous mask-wearing PSYCHOTYPE and Norway victors SKYBRUDD and SRD, who land a slot via the band swap with Slovenian festival Metaldays, round up the day’s announcement.
